CONDITION: Good Pre-Owned condition, shows signs of wear, caseback has a personal gift engraving dated 1983, has a Champion stainless steel bracelet in good condition and will fit 8" wrist, The watch is unpolished and in excellent vintage condition. The dial is in excellent condition, the hour and minute hand show very little patina on the lume. The crown is nice and crisp. Runs excellent

Other:  Rolex produced these watches in the late 1970s and early 1980s for Pool Intairdril, an oil servicing company that supplied labor, rigs, and equipment to major oil corporations like Oxy (Occidental), Agip, and Libyan NOC (National Oil Company in Gaddafi’s Time). These watches were awarded to Pool Intairdril employees as safety awards. Rig managers and safety personnel received these Rolex Air Kings many times with their names engraved on the case back, along with a certificate of commendation, for achieving accident-free days.
